Your first stop in Egypt will be in Cairo and will take you to the great Pyramids touching the 3,500 year old sandstone. What an amazing feeling! One can almost see himself standing beneath that Pyramid during the time when Pharaohs ruled and the Gods were worshiped. In the distance you would see workers building the next pyramid while Queens and Pharaohs would lounge around, supervising. Imagine, Lotus flowers and papyrus growing alongside the majestic river, workers making papyrus paper which would later be placed in the tombs. All the work and effort that was placed into the tombs was incredible and the meaning behind each God and the hieroglyphics are enough to boggle anyone's mind.
Second Stop will be Alexandria becoming more and more popular with tourists coming to Egypt. Alexandria the second largest city in Egypt, known as "The Pearl of the Mediterranean", has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern; its ambiance and cultural heritage distance it from the rest of the country although it is actually only 225 km. from Cairo. It has a deep history goes back to 332 BC as it was erected by Alexander the Great and it considered the capital of Egypt during the Greek Roman time housing the most important antiquates dates back to this period in Egypt.

DAY 1

DAY 2Pyramids - Memphis - Sakkara
Breakfast at your hotel – Then you will be met with your Egyptologist tour guide at the lobby of your hotel – Leave the hotel and drive by private A-C van to Giza Plateau to visit The Great Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – After that you will drive to visit Memphis, which was the capital of ancient Egypt – Later on, you will be transferred to have your Lunch meal at a local restaurant – After Lunch you will proceed to Sakkara to visit The Step Pyramid of the well-known king Djoser - Finally you will be transferred to Giza train station to depart to Luxor via an A-C 1st class sleeper train - Dinner & overnight on board. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 3Full Day Luxor - Train to Cairo
Breakfast will be reserved on board the train - Upon arrival to Luxor train station, you will be met with an English-speaking representative who will transfer you directly to explore the wonderful city to visit Valley of the Kings, where the ancient Egyptian kings were buried - Enjoy your tour by visiting Temple of Hatshepsut, which considers as a wonderful example of the architecture in ancient Egypt as it was carved inside the mountain - Before having your Lunch, you will proceed to visit Colossi of Memnon, which are the only monument survived from the mortuary temple of King Amenhotep III - After that, you will be transferred to have your Lunch meal at a local restaurant - Later on, you will continue discovering the monuments of Luxor by visiting Karnak temple, which is consider the biggest complex construction in the world covering an area of a hundred acres and it is more impressive for the first time visitor - Finish your wonderful tour to visit Temple of Luxor, which was constructed on the site of a small temple of god Amun which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty - Afternoon, you will be transferred back to Luxor train station to return to Cairo via an A-C sleeper train - Dinner & overnight on board the train. DAY 4Cairo City Tour - Cairo ON
Breakfast meal will be reserved on board the train - Upon arrival to Cairo train station, you will be met with GAT Tours representative who will transfer you by private A-C van to your hotel - Check in, rest & refresh - Later on, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to visit The Egyptian Museum, which considers as one of the most important museums in the world housing the largest & finest collection of Pharaonic antiquities – Leave the city centre and drive to Old Cairo where you will discover The Citadel of Salah El Din, built in the 12th century & was the seat of power for the next 700 years – Later on, you will be transferred to have your Lunch meal at a local restaurant – After Lunch you will explore some of our Coptic & Islamic monuments - After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel - At night, free at leisure by your own (Optional Dinner Cruise can be offered upon request) - Overnight in Cairo. DAY 5Alexandria Over-day - Cairo ON
Breakfast at your hotel - Then you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to drive via private A-C van towards Alexandria - Arrive Alexandria and start you’re your there by visiting Library of Alexandria, which was the main source of knowledge for more than 1000 years - After that you will proceed to visit Catacomb cemetery, which were housing many animals’ mummies - Later on you will have your Lunch meal during the tour - After Lunch you will proceed to visit Pompey’s pillar, which was erected in 292 AD - After ending your day tour, you will drive back towards Cairo - Arrive Cairo and proceed to your hotel - Overnight in Cairo.
