  We are safely back home and have recovered from the long plane trip. I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the tour and your roles in arranging it for us.   Thank you for being so patient while working on our many itinerary revisions. Thank you for helping us through the airports, checking us into the hotels and cruise ship, and making sure we arrived back in the United States safely. We were made to feel quite special. Much appreciation to our driver Ahmed Metwali, for going beyond his normal duties. Not only did he safely escort us from Alexandria to Port Said, but he took on the roles of tour guide, lunch date, photographer, and watch repairman, all without bother. He is truly multi-talented!! A heartfelt thanks to everyone we met from GAT Tours, especially the Cairo group (Asmaa, Ahmed, and you too, Ahmed!). Thanks to you and your team for making our trip everything we had hoped for.   I have to say that the balloon trip was the highlight of what was a truly amazing holiday! I still can't get over how friendly and hospitable the Egyptian people are and I have never felt so welcome in another country than I was made to feel in Egypt. The food was amazing, the sights incredible, I could go on and on!
  Thank you very much for arranging the balloon trip and I may well get in touch in the future as my parents might be making a trip to Egypt sometime soon.

  as i have stated we got very good value for money, and the people were only too happy to help out when and where ever they could, so again thank-you.

  Dear Ahmed, We wanted to thank you so much for arranging the wonderful experience we had during our visit to Egypt. The Best of Egypt package was perfect for our first visit to this land of contrasts between ancient and modern civilization. The accommodations, guides, transportation and all the little things were all first class and greatly added to our experience. The added personal touch of having you or one of the GAT representatives in each city greet us at the airports and settle us in the hotels was very helpful. Despite much international travel, our first arrival in a new country provokes some anxiety as to what we will find as we leave the plane. The personal touch completely eliminated this anxiety. We also appreciated the late model vans and the safety awareness of the drivers as traffic patterns are very different from the USA and Europe. All of our other international travel had been on our own and this was our first experience as part of a tour. We were not exactly sure what to expect but this is certainly the way to experience the diversity of Egypt. On our arrival in Cairo we were delighted to have a view of the Pyramids at both Giza and Saqqara from our hotel room balcony. The visit to these pyramids and Sphinx the next day was simply fantastic. Having our own personal guide for our group of four certainly added to our experience. The knowledge of all the guides was very high and they were sensitive to our needs and wishes for any adjustments to the normal schedule. After our experience in Cairo we thought that would be easily the high point of the trip. However we think the Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor parallels the Cairo experience. Not only was the cruise itself relaxing and enjoyable but the tours of a number of temples as well as the Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Kings along the way was an experience not to be missed. Having history come alive in this way was very enjoyable and neither of us had been history buffs before. The break to visit Hurghada and experience the Red Sea was a very relaxing time. We felt very pampered at the magnificent resort where service, food and amenities were top notch. We experienced a ride to 25 meters under the Red Sea in a submarine to view the coral and fish population. A unique experience. The ten day trip was a great way to gain an overview of Egyptian history and culture but we now have an appetite for a more in-depth visit to some of the sites. Of particular interest are the Museum of Antiquities and the Library in Alexandria. The short visit to Port Said showed us that we would like to spend some time on a Mediterranean beach. We felt very welcomed by all we met and are pleased to now have a number of new Egyptian friends, beginning with you. Our sincere thanks to you for all the effort you put into making our trip enjoyable. We will definitely recommend a trip to Egypt through GAT Tours to all of our friends.

  You selected one of the best tour companies in Egypt. I must tell you, my visit to Cairo, Alex, and other cities was wonderful.
  The tour guides in every city were very informative and professional, the van driver was very nice and patient and considerate as well.
  The best of all, Ahmed the facilitator was excellent. If my time permits, I will only use GAT tours for my future trips to Egypt.
  They did deliver everything they promised on the itinerary and they were punctual. I hope you decide to use them when visiting Egypt. Just note that Egyptians have a very good sense of humor so if you are up to that, then you must go for it.
