Dear Ahmed
All of us arrived home safely but tired as all flights were full. I had a bunch of kids sitting behind me who constantly banged into my seat. Now we are fighting the jet lag but that should be OK in 2 days. The old lady who was traveling with us is my son-in-law's grandmother (83 years) and on the same day of arrival she had to attend a wedding. It looks that she is in better condition than the rest of us.
We had a marvellous time and I will be glad to share some pictures with you.
Thank you for all your help and keep up the good work!

Dear Kim
I never wrote to say what a great trip we had on the royal cleo - everything really was perfect. we got on brilliantly with sue and jimmy, and all the crew - mostafa and emad were really helpful, and abu layla's cooking an absolute joy!!
Hopefully I can spread the word, and to that end I've put something up about it on my website.
It was a great holiday all in all, we loved Egypt and when things are stressful here in london i just imagine floating down the nile on the Cleo! My mum is on the mend too, but going through chemo which isn't that pleasant for her. When she recovers, I am planning to send her to Egypt!!
Anyway, thanks so much again for all your help with the organisation etc

Dear Ahmed
Thank you for your kind letter. I'm glad you made it back to Cairo safely and trust you enjoyed your trip. I, too, made it back home to Chicago safely, but am suffering a little from jet-lag. I seem to be awake much of the nights!
I do wish to thank you and your staff, once again, for all of the hard work taken to ensure Doreen and I had a wonderful trip. It was surely a trip of a lifetime for me. I appreciate how well all of the segments of our trip were coordinated and organized. We certainly did not lack for anything.
I was also pleased with the vast knowledge of our guides and how well they presented to us the history behind the magnificent sites we visited. I certainly have a much better appreciation of Egypt's history and culture and am astounded at the friendliness and helpfulness of all those we met on our great adventure.
Thanks also for providing us with excellent drivers, most particularly, Mohammed. He really did an excellent job transporting us through the busy streets of Cairo and on our trip to and from the great city of Alexandria.
I'm still in the process of downloading and sorting all of my pictures. I'll send you some soon of my favorite ones.

Hello Ahmed
We made it home safely and I am now preparing to leave this afternoon for a business trip to London. When I return, I hope to get my photos ready. I will be sure to send one to you. I hope that you are doing well and that you remember David and myself. I am writing to let you know that GAT Tours and you, specifically, were both mentioned in a magazine that I subscribe to. It was very complimentary and I thought you might like a copy of it. So, I just wanted to let you know that I am sending it in the mail to you.

Dear Mr. Abbas
You can use this email as a testimonial to your service and I hope that this can encourage others to use your services
Before going on the trip I, like many other travelers from Singapore, would elect for a organized tour offered by the big tour operators in Singapore. However, after checking with some of them I realized that they could not meet my requirement for specific departure dates and extended tour. I decided on a personalized tour so that I had the flexibility of deciding on my arrival and departure date, the itinerary and the type of service, especially as I was traveling with two kids.
I search the inter net but there were so many tour operators offering essentially the same services. It was tough to decide who was a reliable operator so I decided to call personally to see if I could get a feel of company through the phone (I thought that if it was easy to get through and if they spoke good English than that was a start). I made a list of some of the better looking web sites. My first call was to some company chosen at random. There was no answer and so one was taken off the list. My second was to Gat tours and I was presently surprise with the person on the other side of the line. I told him what I wanted and email him my requirements. My email was answered promptly. I decided to become difficult making many changes and I always had a pleasant reply.
I had made many other request, sometimes at the very last minute, such as local phone cards, to Mr. Abbas and everytime he acceded to my request. I made changes to my itinerary, which, by design, was already interspaced with many relaxing periods and each time he came through. On the way to the airport on the last day of the tour, Mr. Abbas inform me that there was USD40 that he had to pay me because of some of the cancellations that I made. I was indeed surprised as this cancellations were made by me and I did not request for any refunds. Gat tours did this on their own and I was touched. I also realized that this money could have been kept by Mr. Abbas as I would not have known about it. It goes on to show the integrity with the type of people that I was dealing at Gat.

Dear Ahmed Omar
Thank you for your kind message! Steven and I really enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you while in Egypt. Your tour company is great and you were fantastic! Thanks for making everything run so smoothly on our honeymoon trip!
We hope that we can come again to Egypt, as we have heard from so many that we must do a safari in the Sinai....and then of course, there's the diving safaris to consider!!!
We've been telling many friends about our trip and it seems to be making them interested in travelling to Egypt as well.
Thank you again for a wonderful trip. Please keep in touch, and when we have photos on our website, we will let you know. If you'd like to look now, our website address is: http://buddhainthebackground.bloki.com/

UPCOMING EVENTS
Eid Al-Fitr
Type: FestivalsLocation: Cairo
Date: 2010-09-10
After fasting and abstaining from pretty much everything over the course of the Ramadan month, it's no surprise that the Egyptians are ready to party when the Eid Al-Fitr (Festival of Fast-Breaking) comes around.
Ramadan ends as a cannon tolls the arrival of dusk, and the streets suddenly fill with an explosion of revellers. New clothes are chosen and masses of food is purchased and turned into feasts for friends and family.
Even if you haven't endured a month of privations, you can be sure to enjoy the sudden release in tension as the country is finally able to let go and fill its belly again.
Please note that this date is an estimate based on the visibility of the lunar crescent, so Eid may actually start 1-2 days earlier or later than predicted.
